வஸ்து - Vasthu
s. (pl. வஸ்துக்கள், வஸ்துகள்) a thing, a substance, a creature, பொருள்; 2. the Being, God; 3. (in cant) spirituous liquors, anything intoxicating.
உப்பு நல்ல வஸ்து, salt is a good thing. பராபரவஸ்து, God, the Supreme Being. ஏகவஸ்து, the one Being, God. வஸ்து லக்ஷணம், -லட்சணம், the propperties of the Supreme Being which are five as per Agamas, viz. சத்து, reality; சித்து, spirit; ஆனந்தம், bliss; 4. நித்தியம், eternity; and பரிபூர்ணம் all pervading.
கருக்கு -
s. the edge of a knife, sword etc. the teeth of a saw, கூர்; 2. keenness, கூர்மை; 3. engraved, carved or embossed work, சித்திரவேலை; 4. a decoction. கஷாயம்; 5. narcotic drug, as hemp, போதைவஸ்து; 6. newness, freshness, புதுமை; 7. beauty, அழகு.
கருக்கரிவாள், a sickle. கருக்கழிய, கருக்குமழுங்க, to grow blunt. கருக்கானபணம், newly coined money. கருக்கிட, --ஆக்க, to sharpen. கருக்குப்போட, to prepare a decoction of drugs. கருக்குமீசை, curled moustache. கருக்குள்ளது, that which is sharpedged. கருக்குவேலை, work in stone or metal, bass-relief, raised-work, fretwork; 2. fine workmanship, excellent work.
இலகரி - ilakari
இலகிரி, லகிரி, s. fenzy, inebriation (see, இலாகிரி), வெறி; 2. intoxicating liquor; 3. excessive joy or love; 4. (fig). a book, நூல் as சிவானந்தலகரி. இலாகிரி வஸ்து, an intoxicant.
