சந்தானம் -

தொந்தம் - tontam
(prop. துவந்தம்), s. a pair, சோடி; 2. union of sexes, சேர்க்கை; 3. adhering to (as a hereditary disease), தொடர்பு; 4. friendship, sympathy, அநுதாபம்; 5. improper familiarity, தொடிசு; 6. implacable hatred, தொந்திப்பு.
தொந்தக்காரர், inveterate foes. தொந்தமாய், (தொந்திப்பாய்) இருக்க, to be very familiar with one. தொந்தயுத்தம், a duel, a close-determined fight between two persons. தொந்தரோகம், -வியாதி, internal, complicated and dangerous disease. தொந்தவினை, தொந்தார்த்தம், the fruits of former actions invariably following a person. தொந்தார்த்தனை, mutual hatred between two persons.
