பசுமை - Pasumai

Note:- the adj. forms are பசு (with ம் etc.), பசிய, பச்சு, பச்சை, பாசு, பை (with ம் etc. The last three see separately.
பசியமரம், a green tree. பசுங்கதிர், young ears of corn. பசுங்காய், a green unripe fruit. பசுங்கிளி, பைங்கிளி, a green parrot. பசுங்குடி, பசுமைக்குடி, a respectable family. பசுந்தரை, a grassy ground. பசுமைக்காரன், a man of truth and probity. பசுமையுள்ளவன், பசையுள்ளவன், a man in good circumstances. பசும்புல், green grass; 2. growing corn, விளைபயிர். பசும்பொன், fine gold, gold of a greenish yellow colour as distinquished from செம்பொன். பச்சடி, a kind of seasoning for food, 2. (prov.) prosperity, command of money. பச்சரிசி, raw rice freed from the husk. பச்சிலை, a green leaf; 2. a kind of ever-green, xanthocymus pictoricus, தமாலம். பச்சிலைப்பாம்பு, a kind of green snake. பச்சிறைச்சி, raw meat. பச்செனல், பச்சென்றிருத்தல், v. n. being green, verdant. பச்செனவு, v. n. greenness, verdure; 2. dampness; 3. plumpness, fulness. பச்செனவான மரம், a verdant tree. பச்சோந்தி, பச்சோணான், the green lizard. the chameleon. பச்சோலை, a green palm leaf.
ஈரம் -
s. wetness, humidity, moisture, நனைவு; 2. coolness, agreeableness, குளிர்ச்சி; 3. kindness, affection, அன்பு; 4. grace, கிருபை; 5. knowledge, wisdom, அறிவு; 6. freshness, greenness, பசுமை.
ஈர நாவுக்கு எலும்பில்லை, a slanderous tongue has no bone on it; (a babbler may babble anything). ஈரநெஞ்சு, kind loving heart. ஈரநைப்பு, the dimming of a mirror on account of moisture deposited on it. ஈரப்பசை, cohesion arising from humidity; moisture. ஈரப்பசையுள்ளவன், a man in easy circumstances, one in well-to-do circumstances. ஈரப்பலா, the bread-fruit tree. ஆசினி மரம். ஈரமில்லா நெஞ்சத்தார், persons whose hearts are void of kindness, men who have no loving heart. ஈரவெங்காயம், ஈருள்ளி, onions. ஈரவன், ஈர்ங்கதிர், the moon. ஈர்ந்தமிழ், sweet agreeable Tamil.
