ஈசன் - Iisan
s. God, the Lord of the universe, கடவுள்; 2. a king, master, அரசன்; 3. priest, குரு; 4. Siva, சிவன்; 5. an elder, an aged person, மூத்தோன்; 6. Vishnu, விஷ்ணு; 7. Brahma, பிரமா.
ஈசன் மைந்தன், Ganesa, the son of Siva. ஈசனான், the 6th lunar mansion, திருவாதிரை. ஈசத்துவம், ஈசிதை, one of the 8 superhuman powers; அஷ்டசித்திகளு ளொன்று.
தீர்த்தம் - Thiirththam
s. sacred rivers or waters at a place of pilgrimage; 2. consecrated water, திருமஞ்சனநீர்; 3. water in general, நீர்; 4. ceremonial purity, சுத்தம்; 5. water consecrated for the sick; 6. a temple festival or procession, திருவிழா.
தீர்த்தங்கொடுக்க, to distribute sacred water. தீர்த்தமாட, to bathe in sacred water; 2. to bathe (used by Vaishnavas in this sense.) தீர்த்தயாத்திரை, pilgrimage to bathe in sacred water. தீர்த்தர், (pl.) Devas, Celestials, தேவர். தீர்த்தவாசி, a pilgrim. தீர்த்தன், Argha, அருகன்; 2. Siva, சிவன்; 3. a guru, குரு; 4. a teacher of the vedas, உபாத்தியாயன்.
சங்கரன் - cangkaran
